Meet Cricket — the life of the party, the social butterfly, and quite possibly the most enthusiastic pup you’ll ever encounter. Born with a personality bigger than her bark, Cricket will be celebrating her second birthday May 2026, and she plans to make it everyone’s celebration too.

Cricket has never met a stranger. Dogs? Best friends. Cats? Also best friends. Kids? Absolutely best friends. If you exist, Cricket assumes you are there specifically to play with her — and honestly, she’s usually right. Her favorite mission in life is making sure no one is left out of the fun, especially herself.

When it comes to hobbies, Cricket is a dedicated athlete. Whether it’s a ball, a toy, or something that vaguely resembles either, she’s ready to chase it down with unmatched enthusiasm and bring it back (most of the time). It’s not just a game — it’s a lifestyle.

Cricket’s looks keep people guessing. With the sturdy, lovable appearance of a pitty mix and the unmistakable voice of a hound, she’s a delightful combination of strength, charm, and a howl that demands attention. And attention is exactly what she wants — and gets.

Cricket requires a fenced in yard with an hour of Toledo, Ohio.

I understand the statements I have read about this dog are true based upon the foster evaluation of this dog. I understand this dog may behave differently (negatively or positively) in my home. I understand that while the dog might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with my animal(s) or child(ren). I understand that the dog may be housebroken in the home of the foster, but may relapse in my home. I understand that the dog is represented to me as it performs and behaves in the foster home and any statements made regarding the dog are conditional to the foster home setting.
