Prevention Services
We’re passionate about improving the lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pets and their people. Here’s how we’re making a difference in Lucas County.
Our Mission
At Toledo’s Pet Bull Project, we’re passionate about improving the lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pets and their people. Here’s how we’re making a difference:
Fighting Food Insecurity:
Our pet food pantry keeps over 800 families from having to choose between feeding their furry loved ones and putting food on the table.
Healthy Pets, Happy Homes:
We offer free vaccination and training events throughout the summer months to ensure pets have the vet care and training they need and remain happy, healthy companions.
Making Spay/Neuter Affordable:
Our spay and neuter grants help control pet overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership.
Unleashing Good Behavior:
Low-cost training classes equip pet owners with the skills to build strong relationships with their dogs.
Empowering Knowledge:
Free humane education talks and seminars educate the community on responsible pet care and animal welfare.
Spay/Neuter Support
We help families cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery to prevent overpopulation.
Pet Food Pantry
On the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, we provide dog and cat food to Lucas County residents facing financial hardship.
