Does your well-trained pup turn into a different dog outside the house? You’re not alone! Many dogs struggle with leash manners and distractions in new environments. 

This class is the perfect next step for dogs who’ve mastered the basics at home. We’ll help your furry friend become a confident and focused companion on walks and outings. 

Here’s what you can expect: 

Level-up leash work: Master leash walking, even in group settings, simulating pack walks. 

Reliable recall: Build a rock-solid recall, ensuring your dog returns to you every time, no matter the distraction. Distance obedience: Perfect commands like “sit,” “down,” and “stay” from a distance. 

Distraction training: Teach your dog to calmly handle other dogs and exciting sights and sounds. Sharpened focus: Improve your dog’s attention span for better communication and control. Impulse control: Help your dog resist distractions and temptations.

Bonus! This class prepares your dog for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification, a respected national program that demonstrates good manners and basic obedience.

Prerequisites: Basic Obedience/Good Manners class or a recommendation form one of our trainers. Your dog must be able to sit, down, stay, and come when called.
