Humane Education Classes
Humane Education classes are now being offered to youth and adults in our community. These classes teach participants how to interact with animals and how to treat them “humanely”.
These classes cover greeting dogs you just meet, what to do if approached by a stray dog, peer pressures in the media and the affects that dog fighting has on the entire community. These classes are focused on actively building compassion and empathy along with shifting culture norms regarding dogs as property and breed specific legislation and perceptions.
Various topics and time frames are available. If you would like to schedule a class for your school, church or community center, please feel free to contact us using the form below or call 567-315-8051.
