Our Mission

At Toledo's Pet Bull Project, we're passionate about improving the lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pets and their people. Here's how we're making a difference:

  • Fighting Food Insecurity: Our pet food pantry keeps over 800 families from having to choose between feeding their furry loved ones and putting food on the table.
  • Healthy Pets, Happy Homes: We offer free vaccination and training events throughout the summer months to ensure pets have the vet care and training they need and remain happy, healthy companions.

  • Making Spay/Neuter Affordable: Our spay and neuter grants help control pet overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership.
  • Unleashing Good Behavior: Low-cost training classes equip pet owners with the skills to build strong relationships with their dogs.
  • Empowering Knowledge: Free humane education talks and seminars educate the community on responsible pet care and animal welfare.

Together, we can create a kinder, more compassionate world for animals!

Free Dog Training

During our park training sessions, we provide complimentary training services to all participants. Each year, our dedicated trainers engage with nearly 500 dogs who join us for these events during the summer. By receiving training, these dogs significantly reduce the likelihood of being surrendered or re-homed.

Free Vaccine Clinic

We partner with local vet clinics to offer free Rabies and DHPP vaccinations throughout the summer. These essential vaccinations protect dogs from serious illnesses and are crucial for responsible pet ownership.

Each summer, we travel to different neighborhoods, vaccinating close to 400 dogs. This program ensures that even pets in need can receive this vital healthcare, promoting overall animal well-being in our community.

Free Resources

During our park events, we provide new collars, leashes, and harnesses to anyone in need of new equipment for their dogs. We also provide resources for our pet food pantry, low-cost training, and spay/neuter. Each year, we provide hundreds of dogs with new training equipment to keep them safe and secure.

Do you have a dog that needs to be spayed/neutered? We can help pay for your dog's surgery to get fixed. As part of our mission, we are trying to do our part to fight overpopulation in the community. Fill out the application and sign our spay/neuter contract, and we will get in contact with you about helping to get your dog fixed.
